Information About Users

CareerMums forms require users to specify contact information. Registration in ‘Create a Profile’ is compulsory when you want to apply for jobs. Registration includes submitting your email address. You may access this information at any time by clicking on ‘My Profile’. All information in resumes including name, address, email address, telephone numbers, employment and educational history are used for the purposes of facilitating your job seeking efforts. Users can modify or delete their resume at any time by going to the ‘My Profile’ area of the site.

Once You are registered, you can make an online application to a job advertisement on CareerMums. Job applications require you to complete mandatory fields (first name, last name, phone and email) so that the advertiser can identify and contact you. Your application, including your resume and cover letter, are forwarded directly on to the third party advertiser. By applying to a position advertised on CareerMums you are requesting that CareerMums pass the information to the Advertiser as a part of your application. Additionally, you have the right to request your personal information direct from Advertisers on CareerMums.

Job Alert is an optional service. CareerMums sends a Job Alert to you when a new job on the site matches your requirements. CareerMums requests that you provide information relating to your employment preferences and location as well as your email address so that we may notify you via email of jobs specific to your needs.

Job Alert may also include information about additional products and services which form part of your relationship with CareerMums. Users can modify or delete their Job Alert profiles at any time by going to the ‘My Profile’ area of the site or unsubscribing to the service via the Job Alert email sent to the user’s inbox.

IP Addresses

CareerMums uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.

Cookies

CareerMums uses cookies to enhance the user’s experience. Cookies are small files that web browsers place on the computer’s hard drive to recognise users. CareerMums uses cookies to remember user names and passwords, preferences, and tracking click streams.  Cookies assist CareerMums in delivering faster service and a more personalized user experience.
