One of our graphic designers / assistants (who contracts her services to us on a needs basis) recently had to look for work because her husband had lost his job and unfortunately we didnt have enough work for her to sustain a suitable income. She has young children and needed ideally a flexible working environment and preferably part time hours, but struggled to find anything anywhere trawling through Seek and MyCareer etc. I suggested she check out CareerMums and the same day she did, she applied for 2 jobs and within a week was offered a part time role. I just wanted to write and tell you what a great experience I've had with advertising on Career Mums. I run a boutique web consultancy that specialises in small business. I had a feeling that a parent would be an ideal solution. I'm flexible with staff hours and wanted someone that would become part of the team long term.
