Client Case Studies
Johnson & Johnson Medical
"The Parental Toolkit was sent to all employees who were either on leave or currently expecting a child. Our initial print run was expected to be enough for 1 year however we quickly found that the demand was so high we had to reprint within 2 months! Feedback was exceptional with managers and employees alike indicating that they had never had anything so thorough provided to them to help support them through the parental leave and return from leave period." Read the Johnson & Johnson case study
State Trustees
"We have customised and rolled out the Working Parents Toolkit, Flexible Work Proposal Toolkit and the Keep In Touch Program. We have had great feedback from the business about all of these initiatives and feedback from staff and our stakeholders has been really positive. The introduction of these initiatives has really encouraged more conversations about flexibility, especially as we continue to experience a high maternity leave rate." Henry Davis York
We spoke to Kate at Career Mums in late 2009 having recently completed a project around assessing our flexible work practices and their implementation. The project identified that while our staff saw us as embracing flexibility in the work place (and being receptive to requests for it) there were things we could do to improve. Parental Leave Program Toolkit

A step by step guide to creating a ‘stay in touch' program to engage and retain parents-on-leave.
Research and surveys have consistently identified that employers do not typically have a communication program in place for parental leavers, and this has the potential to negatively impact the retention rate of employees returning from parental leave.
This HR Toolkit is considered a must for organisations who want to engage and retain talented employees on parental leave. Use this step by step guide to build your own Parental Leave Program that is unique to your organisation.
Some of our clients include Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation, Freemans Insurance, Australian Sports Commission, Clayton Utz, the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sara Lee Australia, the Westpac Group (including BT Financial Group, St George, Asgard, and Rams), Investec Bank (Australia), McDonalds, and AusAID.

This service includes one-on-one (phone or face-to-face) career discussion that includes career aspirations, networking skills, suitable job channels, resume preparation, presentation and positive language skills, and interview coaching. We provide a hand-out at the end of each session that covers key follow-up information specific to the employee.
