What is CareerMums?
CareerMums is a national jobs board, candidate board, careers centre for job seekers, employers and recruiters who are focused on flexibility in the workplace. We advertise full time, part time, job share and contract style roles. Employers and recruiters list jobs on the site; and job seekers apply for suitable roles in their own time. Career dads and non-parents seeking flexible work arrangements are more than welcome to apply for any job listing on CareerMums.

Do all job listings have to exhibit some employment flexibility?
The key to this market segment is employment flexibility so it is advised. For example, your job may provide flexibility with working hours. So rather than working from 9am to 5pm, you may offer the opportunity to work from 8am to 4pm. Visit our web page that covers family friendly work policies.

Do I have to pay to use CareerMums?
CareerMums is a free service to job seekers.  You can set up job alerts, post your profile for propsective employers,  register, and search for jobs for free. We also have a range of resources to assist you in transitioning back into the workplace.

What does it cost to advertise a job on CareerMums?
Refer to our pricing schedule. If you would like us to send you an invoice, please call us on (02) 6161 0128 or email us at listings@careermums.com.au to arrange.

How long does my job advertisement stay online?
All job advertisements are live on CareerMums for 30 days. When your job ad expires, it will be archived in your Account area.

How do I know if someone has applied for my job?
You will be sent an email notification as soon as someone applies for your job. Included in the email notification will be their resume and cover letter. All applications will also be stored in your Account area.

Can I search candidate profiles?
Yes. The service is free for candidates to post their profile. Employers and recruiters have access to a summary list of candidates in their account. If you purchase a job advertisement on CareerMums will we provide you with 2 months of access to the candidate database for free. Unline other candidate boards, our candidates are required to re-fresh their information every 60 days to ensure your search includes active job seekers.
